Putting the Wraps on an Incredible Adventure
OK, so it's been nearly three weeks since I arrived home from a two-month bicycle ride. Still not enough time to get back to whatever normal is, but enough time for things to begin to focus and an appreciation to build.
I owe a huge thank you to the several hundred people who've contributed both emotionally and financially to the success of the bike journey. We've exceeded or goal of raising money for the Warriors Heart Foundation and exceeded the goal of a septuagenarian riding a bike nearly 3,000 miles in less than 60 days.
The adventure may be over and done with. But never doubt; sometimes special dreams become reality.
