Be Careful What You Wish For

Have you ever planned something for over two years? And then when you're actually doing it ask, "Why am I doing this?" Welcome to my world today. It was a difficult 69-mile bike ride from El Centro to Yuma with temps hovering in the 103 range. The best I can say is at least I'm back in Arizona. So far, close to 300 miles since shoving off from Oceanside on Tuesday. Overall, nothing but good; we've met a few colorful characters and the RV and Dave are holding up well.

Tomorrow leads to beautiful downtown Dateland, AZ, then onto Gila Bend on Monday -- two more terrific hotspots. Happy Cinco de Mayo!
